Just two days ago, artist BTB Savage was shot and killed close to Houston’s river Oak area. And it appears that the reason for the killing is because BTB Savage posted photos on social media of him standing over a murder scene where he had previously killed another person.
The images show the Rapper flaunting his flashy jewelry while standing near a door riddle with bullet holes. The floor appears to be splattered with fresh blood. He wrote next to the blood spots. ‘Too Much Motion’ referencing a recent video he had just made.

It now appears that friends of the victim killed by BTB Savage did not take it too kindly to such a boisterous gesture and threatening message. It now appears that they quickly planned to seek revenge at the earliest opportunity. Within a few hours of the postings, at around 6.10 pm, there was a shooting incident near Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood, and the thriving artist lost his life.
According to Houston police chief Troy Finner, BTB Savage was dead at the scene before EMS arrived. However, forensic pathology studies are still pending, and the exact identity of the individual killed has yet to be released. However, several Houston news sites have no question that it was BTB Savage who was killed.
Reports from witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting indicate that BTB Savage was driving a white Mercedes. Within a few seconds, suspects in a black Subaru pulled alongside the Mercedes and fired multiple shots into his car. The black Subaru then fled down San Felipe.
Law enforcement is asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

BTB Savage’s career was just taking off, and he had recently appeared on podcasts like Vlad TV and Off the Porch to discuss the incident where he killed another individual in self-defense. It appears that the killing took place after someone tried to rob BTB Savage at his San Antonio home while asking him for a feature. Soon this interaction turned violent, and Savage’s girlfriend shot the individual to death. BTB Savage felt proud of his girlfriend’s work and then made photos about the killing for social media- a major league Fatal Error.
If the victim is indeed BTB Savage, it shows that bragging and taunting the enemy on social media is never a good idea, especially if one resides in the same city/state.
