This week former NBA player Shaq happened to be in a jewelry store near Atlanta and decided to pay for another customer’s engagement ring. The kind gesture was caught on video then further explained on “NBA on TNT” Tuesday night. The now sports analyst explained his day regarding his trip to Zales. O’neal was in search of earrings and happened to overhear a man’s conversation on financing a ring. “ I seen the guy come in — he was just so shy…”, he expounded further. When the offer to pay for the ring was put on the table, the young man was hesitant before accepting. The day at the store ended with a photo and a smile.
Apparently this isn’t the first grand gesture O’neal took part of. A few days before the jewelry store incident the ex baller paid for a family’s items at a furniture store. Patrick Martin even confirmed that Shaq paid for his laptop at a Best Buy in Mcdonough last year. The Sports analyst is no stranger to giving back and based on recurring events he’s not stopping anytime soon.
