A few months ago, Slim Thug unveiled his latest work called ‘Where Dreams Are Made’, which was a nine-song collection that largely catered to the ladies. Several weeks ago, he revealed his latest release, a new visual from that project for SDS Fly.
The nine song collection of Where Dreams Are Made include:
- SDS Fly
- Sexy Lady
- Shopping Sprees
- Life So Good
- Nobody But You
- I See You
- Its True
- One Last Dance
- Can’t Stay
The latest work, SDS FLY, references his nickname, Suga Daddy Slim, and exudes the same level of confidence, swag, and cockiness that the Houston, Texas rapper is already well known for.
One of the lines in SDS FLY goes as follows, “My sugar baby’s gorgeous, my diamonds all flawless, Cadillac the rawest, I’m living like I’m lawless, flier than the plane but stay in my own lane, and these ladies know my name from H-Town to Spain, mane, old smooth a** n**ga, since I was a child, I’ve been a cool a** n**ga, been gettin’ to the paper since school had figures, grew up on that ‘Pac, Face, Pimp, and that Jigga…”
SDS Fly is accompanied by a visual clip that comes as a courtesy of DJ Young Samm; it starts with Slim arriving at an unknown location in an old model classic Cadillac. The rest of the video reveals what Slim Thug is most famous for- celebrating and enjoying a late night with a few sexily-clad females in attendance.
Like Slim Thug, DJ Young Samm is another Texan who has been thriving in the music industry for more than a decade. The versatile Samm is not only a rapper but a prolific writer, producer, engineer, and even director. Over the years he has built a solid relationships with the industry’s top rappers including Slim Thug, Big KRIT FreSh, Mistah FAB, Trae, Sauce Walka, the Truth and many others. It is the ingenuity of Samm that has made the new visual SDS Sky stand out. Samm is now busy creating stronger relationships with emerging Texas artists and has continued to expand his contacts in other cities. The current visual SDS Fly video with Slim Thug will surely catapult him to a higher level in the rapper world.
Prior to ‘Where Dreams Are Made,’ the rapper dropped ‘BIGslim’ in 2022, which was a collection of ten tracks and a single feature from his most frequent collaborator and fellow Texan buddy, Le$. In 2022, Slim Thug also provided his special brand of bars with songs like Propain’s “Gangsta,” Charlene Renee’s “On Pimpin,” and Blackmail’s “Blow Out Ya Brains.”
As reported by REVOLT, Slim was one of the unfortunate Americans who also acquired Covid-19 in 2021, which did slow him down with the music. When he realized he had contracted covid 19, the rapper quickly got on social media and made recommendations to his fans, saying, “Y’all gotta take this stuff seriously. Sit home, self-quarantine, do not come outside for however long they saying. If you have symptoms, you need to go get checked out or whatever… But y’all better take it serious, it’s real out here.”
