Camila Cabello was the performing guest on Saturday Night Live on Saturday. An exhilarating performance occurred as she brought Willow to perform “Psychofreak .” Willow’s first public appearance was the live performance since her dad’s incident at 94th Academy Awards. Colin Jost made a joke earlier in the show about the actor being banned from the awards show for ten years.

“But is that a punishment?” The host asked.” He can still be nominated… and even win an award. He can even go to the after party- He just doesn’t have to attend the four-hour ceremony, where someone is definitely going to make fun of his wife again. Honestly, I think a real punishment would be to make Will Smith host next year’s Oscars, because trust me, nothing will make you question your choices in life more than hosting an awards show.”

During the former fifth harmony member’s “Psychofreak” performance, it features the lyrics, “I don’t blame the girls for how it went down, down.” 

“That song is basically about anxiety and all of the different things that have made up, like, my journey with anxiety and starting off really young in the industry,” she told the outlet. 

 Reuters’s line is about her former bandmates, Lauren Jauregui, Normani, Dinah Jane, and Ally Brooke.

“We have been supportive of each other through DMs and stuff … I’m in a perfect place with them,” she later added.

Music fans who voted on a poll published on Friday from Billboard chose the new single as their most favored new music release since the past week.

“Psychofreak” brought in a vote of 46%, beating out new music by Jack Harlow, Lil Baby, Chlöe Bailey, and others.

The song appears on Cabello’s new LP named Familia. Earlier that evening, the singer performed “Bam Bam” alongside her army of dancers. During his infamous monologue, the Host Jake Gyllenhaal sang an SNL-inspired rendition of Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” Cabello unleashed her third solo studio album, Familia, this past Friday. Earlier, the singer shared the music video for “Don’t Go Yet” last July. Camila made her SNL debut in 2019 when she performed “Cry for Me” and “Easy” during an episode hosted by David Harbour in October. 

Lizzo will host and be a musical guest on Saturday Night Live at 11:30 p.m. PST on NBC.
