The six-day event will bring 138 designers and brands from 20 countries and territories to Sony Hall, featuring fashion, culture, philanthropy and entertainment.
Runway 7 is returning to New York Fashion Week for its 11th season with an expansive Spring/Summer 2027 lineup.
Taking place September 8–13, 2026, at Sony Hall in New York City, the six-day event will feature 138 designers and brands representing 20 countries and territories. Collections will span ready-to-wear, streetwear, eveningwear, swimwear, couture, bridal fashion and accessories.
The season will open with Elysian’s fourth annual CatWalk FurBaby presentation and conclude with an exclusive finale from internationally recognized couture designer Malan Breton.
“Season 11 reflects how far the platform has evolved and the kind of global creative community we continue to build,” said Diane Vara, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Runway 7. “This September brings together established names and emerging voices with distinct cultural perspectives, while creating space for fashion to intersect with philanthropy, advocacy and entertainment.”
Fashion With a Purpose
Runway 7 will begin its season on Tuesday, September 8, with CatWalk FurBaby, an invitation-only presentation combining fashion, animal advocacy and philanthropy.
Presented under the theme “Women Inspiring Women,” the event will bring together designers, public figures and animal rescue organizations to support animal welfare and adoption. Fashion industry pioneer Fern Mallis will be honored with the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award, while journalist and television producer Charlii Sebunya will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
Featured designers will include Victor de Souza, Anne Fontaine, Marc Bouwer Studio, L’Agence x Cate Brown, D’Marsh Couture, Hot Girl Quilting, Mazarura, Bless by Bless, Halyna Shunevych, Any Old Iron and Magpies & Peacocks.
The focus on advocacy will continue Wednesday, September 9, with HIV Unwrapped, a private presentation centered on HIV research, lived experiences and community voices. The showcase will use fashion to challenge stigma and increase visibility.
Global Designers Take the Runway
On Thursday, September 10, CHICK New York will return with its bold, 1980s-inspired take on young-adult fashion. The schedule will also feature Veritée Hill, L’Esperance, Alejandro de los Reyes, Mr Crazy & Lady Sexy, Áurea Argentina, Dream Dress Bridal and Amaya Butrón.
Friday’s lineup will combine swimwear, formalwear, streetwear and celebrity-driven collaborations. Momma Boss Swim, SimAllure Boutique, Andre Soriano and Shop the Runway are among the brands scheduled to appear.
One of the evening’s biggest attractions will be RR22, a collaboration between Edition22 and Grammy-nominated artist and entrepreneur Rick Ross. The collection brings Ross’ influence across music, business and culture into street-luxury clothing, accessories and travel design.
Independent streetwear brand Rye Chasin will also appear, while Bugatti will extend its luxury identity beyond automobiles through travel and lifestyle products.
Project Lab Coat Brings Cancer Awareness to Fashion Week
Saturday, September 12, will feature children’s fashion, heritage-inspired designs and purpose-driven presentations.
Savvi Kids Couture Clothing, led by Dr. Tiara Marsh, will host a private children’s fashion show. BMatchy, The Seen Experience, Paroma Ala Mode, Melanie Parker International and Vaida will also present collections throughout the day.
At 7 p.m., Project Lab Coat will present Le Cœur en Scène, an immersive couture experience inspired by the theatrical elegance of European cabaret and dedicated to cancer awareness.
In partnership with the Prevent Cancer Foundation, designers will create individual lab coats representing different forms of cancer and the people affected by them. A cancer survivor participating through the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance will also walk in the presentation.
Project Lab Coat has raised more than $200,000 for health-related causes and has worked with organizations including Mount Sinai, Global Lyme Alliance, Project Lyme and the Lymelight Foundation.
Saturday’s program will conclude with presentations from CHICK New York, Randhawa Brands, Jesse Lee Designs, Tutel, Delphi Rive, Ren Haixi and Creators Inc., connecting traditional runway fashion with digital entertainment and creator culture.
Malan Breton to Close the Season
Runway 7’s six-day schedule will conclude Sunday, September 13, with international couture and culturally influenced fashion.
Anthony Rubio will bring his signature canine couture to Sony Hall, presenting dogs alongside models in coordinated high-fashion looks. Archie Brown will appear in two presentations featuring youth fashion, eveningwear and transformation gowns.
Additional Sunday designers will include Label Nimisha, Mina Concept, Genny Morgan, Priyal Doshi Couture, Nareeka Collection, Ana Kubu, ANTHM, Huneys, Reneé Masoomian, Stacey Martin Lifestyle and Hirun New York.
Malan Breton will close the season with an exclusive finale presentation. Known for couture, theatrical storytelling and tailoring influenced by London’s Savile Row tradition, Breton has dressed celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Janelle Monáe, Billy Porter, Kylie Minogue and Raye.
Runway 7 Fashion Awards to Debut September 14
Following the runway presentations, Runway 7 will launch its inaugural Fashion Awards on Monday, September 14, at 7 p.m. at Sony Hall.
The ceremony will recognize achievements across fashion and the wider creative industry, including design, modeling, hair and makeup, media, performance and innovation.
Award categories will cover streetwear, ready-to-wear, womenswear, global heritage, swimwear, haute couture, sustainable fashion, bridalwear, accessories and emerging design.
Notable nominees include Simón Villalba, Jesse Lee, Paromita Ghosh, Amna Inam, Karen Chan and Markos Pimentel. Malan Breton will also participate in the inaugural celebration.
