Runway 7 Fashion is set to make history this February as it celebrates its 10th season by officially kicking off New York Fashion Week with four days of high-energy runway shows, live events, and immersive activations. The highly anticipated presentations will take place February 12–15, 2026, at the iconic Sony Hall in New York City.
Marking a decade of cultural impact and diversity on the runway, Runway 7 will once again bring together a global community of elite and emerging designers. This season’s milestone event features 85 participating brands from more than 15 countries, reinforcing the platform’s reputation as one of Fashion Week’s most internationally inclusive showcases.
Honoring Excellence and Returning Powerhouses
The award-winning fashion production company—recognized on the Inc. 5000 List as one of America’s fastest-growing companies—will open New York Fashion Week on Thursday, February 12, by presenting legendary designer Naeem Khan with the Excellence in Design Award.
Returning to the Runway 7 stage this season are standout names including RR22 by Rick Ross and celebrated designer Ren Haixi, whose work has been worn by global stars such as Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Billie Eilish, and Cardi B. Also returning is latex visionary Renee Masoomian, known for her striking designs and the unforgettable red nail cape worn by Lady Gaga. Her 2026 presentation promises a bold exploration of empowered femininity through luminous latex and refined, classic textures.
A Global Runway of Innovation
Runway 7’s international lineup reflects fashion’s global dialogue, featuring designers such as Miguel Llopis, who brings his signature Mediterranean moulage technique to the runway, and Moon Chang, celebrated for its avant-garde aesthetic. Additional highlights include 25th Hour Lingerie, Pearl of Me, Thailand-based Hirun, and debut brand Torras, which will integrate its signature phone cases into a ready-to-wear collection that merges technology with nature .
Fashion with Purpose: Project Lab Coat
Now in its fifth installment, Project Lab Coat returns with a powerful message. The initiative transforms traditional research lab coats into fashion pieces that tell the stories of debilitating neurological diseases. Past participants and advocates have included Victoria Kjær, singer Ren Gill, and Lyme disease advocate Ally Hilfiger.
In collaboration with organizations such as the Global Lyme Alliance, Lymelight Foundation, and the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis at Mount Sinai, Runway 7 has donated over $200,000 toward research and treatment for chronic illnesses including Multiple Sclerosis and Lyme disease.

Celebrating Argentina Through ‘Made-In’
Staying true to its commitment to cultural celebration, Runway 7’s annual Made-In initiative will spotlight Argentina this season with an immersive tribute titled “Made in Argentina.” The showcase will feature Argentine actress, model, and former singer Luisana Lopilato, who will wear designs by Armonie Buenos Aires.
The celebration will also include a moving tribute to the late soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona, honoring his extraordinary legacy and global influence. His daughters, Dalma Maradona and Giannina Maradona, will be in attendance to pay homage to an icon whose impact transcends generations and borders .
Behind-the-Scenes Involvement
Often spotted backstage with a headset and NYFW staff lanyard, Kovacs is deeply involved in the production and operations of Runway 7’s shows. She plays a pivotal behind-the-scenes role coordinating runway schedules, managing designer relations, and overseeing sponsor integrations that help bring each showcase to life . Industry insiders have described Christina as “one of the silent forces shaping New York Fashion Week,” praised for her leadership and hands-on dedication to making every show run smoothly and purposefully . Her commitment extends to Runway 7’s philanthropic initiatives as well – for example, Kovacs helped spearhead Project Lab Coat, an annual runway event raising awareness for chronic illnesses, a cause that holds personal significance as she herself overcame a lengthy battle with Lyme disease .
