Runway 7, the esteemed fashion production platform, is set to make a bold return to New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for its ninth season. Known for its focus on showcasing global talent, the event will take place from September 9-14, 2025, at Sony Hall. This season promises to be their most international to date, featuring more than 130 designers from over 20 countries. The diverse range of fashion categories will include couture, streetwear, ready-to-wear, sustainability, resort, and accessories.
The festivities will commence on Tuesday, September 9, with a special kickoff event in collaboration with Elysian Magazine. This event is dedicated to animal rescue and awareness and will feature a screening of an Elysian documentary, live appearances from celebrity advocates, and tributes to animal welfare organizations in NYC.
The first official day of shows on Wednesday, September 10, will highlight streetwear with three consecutive blocks featuring over 35 designers. Labels such as 4Hustlers2Win, The Lost Generation, Roughplay, MannMade Athleisure, and Von Olivier will be part of the most international streetwear selection ever presented by Runway 7. The evening will transition to an elevated ready-to-wear aesthetic, showcasing couture and sustainable designs from labels like Paso Colorado, Mun Designs, MSFL, Soul by Ame, and PMP NY.

Thursday, September 11, will feature a wide variety of aesthetics. The day’s showcases will include contemporary ready-to-wear from Rojita Gis, Lemini Brand, and Kenn Kozz , and Latin American streetwear by TKYOBA, Enflame, and Indifferent Streetwear. Other highlights include couture and avant-garde pieces from Fear Free and Bea Barreau , sustainable evening wear by Love, Riley and Juliana Paz , and resort/boho looks by Kelpie Swim and ALMAMI. Conceptual work by Rakee Chen x LiberLive, prêt-à-porter from Bolivian designer Eanian478, and accessories by Giovan Luna México will also be featured.
Friday, September 12, will begin with streetwear collections from Beyond Streetwear, 9MM, Deserve Urban, and Vieg Yuro. The focus will shift to swimwear at 1:00 p.m., with presentations by Sub Real and ADN506 Swimwear by Mynell Chacón, a Costa Rican label whose collection is inspired by the tropical landscapes of Central America. The evening will see the return of Actively Black, a luxury streetwear brand founded by former NBA player Lanny Smith, at 8 p.m.. Known for celebrating Black excellence and community impact, Actively Black has previously collaborated with films like Black Panther and Mufasa.

One of the most dynamic evenings of the season will be Saturday, September 13. The day will start with children’s and youth collections from new talent like Ohshana and Chick. Later that night at 7 p.m., Runway 7 will present the third edition of its philanthropic initiative, Project Lab Coat. This year, the event will focus on raising awareness and funds for Lyme disease and is supported by three major U.S. Lyme-focused organizations: Project Lyme, Global Lyme Alliance, and LymeLight Foundation. Project Lab Coat is known for combining fashion with purpose, shifting the spotlight from celebrity to community.
Also featured on Saturday night is THDR x Neuono, an Australian brand that blends menswear and womenswear with artificial intelligence in its design and construction. Acclaimed designer Ren Haixi, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, will also unveil her latest collection, “The Wild West Reimagined”. Haixi, a favorite of celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Billie Eilish, and Shakira, is known for her sustainable, zero-waste couture. Her new collection features distressed fabrics, raw-edge lace, and a color palette inspired by the American desert. The night will conclude with a highly anticipated show from a major headliner, with the name to be announced closer to the date.
Runway 7 will conclude its season on Sunday, September 14, with a lineup of sustainable and independent labels. The day will also feature a special solo show by The Fashion Institute of Florida alumna Arielle Juliette, selected through Runway 7’s partnership with Runway Muse to support emerging talent. This season marks a significant milestone for Latin America at NYFW, with over 25 participating brands from countries including Argentina, Mexico, Chile, and Bolivia. Argentina leads the way with a record-breaking 12 designers.
