While enjoying her 28th birthday weekend celebration, Cardi B accidentally posted a photo on Instagram of herself topless. She later told her fans that the whole thing was a big mistake, and that she was actually trying to send a picture to Offset of a swollen lip. As it happened, one slip of her fingers resulted in the picture being uploaded to social media.
“I’m laying in the f****** bed right,” she explained in one Billboard article, “and I’m telling Offset, ‘It got a little swollen’. So I’m like ‘On camera it looks swollen…’ So I’m taking the f****** picture, and then I f****** pressed and I’m seeing that it’s loading, and I’m like “Oh my God! oh my God! The picture’s loading!”
Seemed like a genuine enough explanation. With Cardi B being such a mega celebrity, even when she tried to immediately delete it, by the time she could take it down thousands of her fans had already screenshotted the photo and began sharing it all across the internet!
Cardi B’s Reaction to the Accidentally Posted Topless Pic
People Magazine reported that Cardi wasn’t going to take it too seriously, and not be too hard on herself about it. “You know what? I’m never going to beat myself up about it,” she said. “Nope no I’m not. I won’t, it is what it is s*** happen. F*** it. It’s not even the first time. I mean I used to be a f****** stripper so whatever. Ay, Dios mio.”
It’s no secret to all of her fans that Cardi is comfortable in her own skin. It was her birthday weekend, and even she said that she was feeling the alcohol. “My walk is on dumb because I’m still drunk,” she said on one gorgeous post of her strolling towards the camera in a bikini.
All a person has to do is look at her musical history, and they’ll realize that she is very open about her sexuality. This year, her and Megan Thee Stallion released the chart topping song WAP, and just last year she released the video for the song Press, where according to The New York Post she actually did pose fully naked (her breasts and vaginal area were blurred).
Other Reactions to Cardi B’s Topless Photo
Cardi has forgiven herself for the topless pic posting folly, although many are still unsure about what she meant about not suing anybody. “Nobody to be sued,” she wrote, “It was my fuck up. Sh*t happens.”

50 Cent got called a troll again by a bunch of social media fans when he reacted to the photo. “I know I’m late, I be missing shit,” 50 wrote in a post. “She was lit man, it was her birthday! Moving right along, pick a color. Now this make a b*tch wanna show a titty lol”.
Hot 97 in New York also reacted, acknowledging that Cardi had admitted that her mistake was her mistake, that she’d taken responsibility for it, and wasn’t blaming anyone else.
