In her words, she had a horrible experience saying seeing the labels was “triggering” for her as woman es[ecially since she is recovering from an eating disorder.
“Finding it extremely hard to order froyo from @thebiggchillofficial when you have to walk past tons of sugar-free cookies/other diet foods before you get to the counter,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Do better, please.”She also made sure to add the hashtag “#dietculturevultures.” to the post.
The Bigg Chill responded to Lovato’s post tagged the star — and posted, “We carry items for Diabetics, Celiac disease, Vegan and of course have many indulgent items as well.” even though the yogurt shop made valid points, The Sorry not sorry singer did not apologize for her comments but did respond to a solution to make her feel better at shopping for fro-yo.
