Just this week, 38-year-old Future released a clip of his new valentine’s day song- called ‘Worst Day.’ Claiming to be a bona fide womanizer, he opens the first verse with “Valentine’s Day the worst day, got too many to please.”
Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, Aka Future also inserted a hilarious 60-second trailer that features relationship therapist and image consultant, Kevin Samuels- and the reaction has been great.
Kevin Samuels is not a rapper but a well-known Youtuber, Dating Expert, Social Media Influencer, and Life Coach from Atlanta. He is most well known as a motivational speaker, dresses sharp, is articulate, and helps people or companies get back on track. He rose to prominence by helping and mentoring young African Americans. And in this video, his job is to help Future with his uncontrolled spending on women.
Future, born in Atlanta is most well known for his mumbling rap; and he is a prolific song producer and a pioneer in vocal effects and the use of melodies. Some of the verses from his Worst Day album include:
Valentine’s Day, the worst day, got too many to please
Spent over a hunnit Gs and she still wasn’t pleased
I done gave her a hundred Gs, all she wants is me
It’s a treat when we meet up, whenever we meet
She just wants me to be there on February 14
In the clip with the relationship therapist, titled ‘Healing together with Dr. Kevin Samuels’ there is a funny sit-down conversation where Future admits that he is addicted to spending money on women buying them exotic and expensive gifts like Birkin, Hermes bags, Chanel, and Dior. And when the therapist asks him how much he spends; Future says 2-3, and the therapist says two to three thousand is not that much- but Future corrects him by saying it is 2-3 million.
Future shamelessly says, “Every time I see a beautiful woman, I have to splurge. I have to spoil them.” And he revealed that he has spent over $2.3 million while dating women just last year. The song and video are directed by DAPS and reveal Future having several dates with beautiful women; at the same time, he has several traditional valentine’s day gifts like flowers, stuffed animals, and balloons in the background. And while holding a bouquet he raps, “Valentine’s Day, the worst day / Got too many to please / Spent over one hundred Gs and she still wasn’t pleased.”
This particular song, ‘Worst Day’ is Future’s first original solo release since 2020. Prior to that, he had released his popular ‘High Off life’ album. The rapper now also serves as an executive producer on Ye’s new album DONDA-2, which is set to be released in 2 weeks.
