DMX Dies At 50

Rapper DMX dies in the hospital at the age of 50 due to organ failure. The death was announced Friday (April 9th P). A few days earlier (April 2nd), it was reported that rapper Dmx suffered from an overdose which resulted in a heart attack. His heart attack happened at his home around 11 p.m., according to the statement released by his attorney, Murray Richman, on NBC News the following day. After being admitted, the rapper’s health was in such a  critical state; he had to be renewed and placed on life support. According to reports, he was reportedly deprived of oxygen for nearly 30 minutes. The Monday following his admission, a prayer vigil was held in his honor outside of the hospital while remaining on life support. The ceremony began at five in the evening and was hosted by the Ruff Ryders to the Rescue Foundation. Hundreds of people who cared for X were in attendance. Fellow Stars, Family, loved ones, fans and supporters came together in celebration of his legacy.  The Baltimore native’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons and his fiancée Desiree Lindstrom were also at the event where they participated in prayer for his survival. Attendees held balloons and creative signs for DMX. At the same time, other participants crossed their arms to form an X. Ruff Ryders join fans to drive through the event on motorcycles and vehicles as hundreds as the late star’s music near the hospital through the streets.  In the same week, the rapper underwent a brain functionality test, according to TMZ. The test was conducted to measure the level of activity in his brain in hopes of any improvement. “We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birthname of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart, and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s Music inspired countless fans across the world, and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle, and then man the world Knew as DMX. We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized.” White Plains Hospital extends its deepest condolences to the rapper’s funny. after suffering a catastrophic cardiac arrest.”     The Baltimore native spent his early life in New York and openly shared His turbulent childhood experience. Through his abusive household and juvenile institutions, DMX still managed to win throughout all the odds faced against him. During his childhood, he began writing music, and that became his outlet that turned into fame. He eventually linked up with producer Ready Ron and the rest was history, his iconic legacy will live on forever.
