It’s been 1,193 days since the passing of California rapper Nipsey Hustle. On Wednesday, Eric Holder Jr., A gang member, was convicted of murder.
Loved rapper Nipsey Hussle was signing autographs for supporters on March 31, 2019, outside his clothing store In Crenshaw. where he grew up when Holder Jr. approached. Holder Jr. departed after a brief conversation but returned several minutes later and shot Hussle 11 times. Two others were also shot but survived the attack.
Holder was also convicted of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter for injuring bystanders when he shot Hussle, assault with a firearm, and one count of possessing a firearm by a felon.
According to Prosecutors, Holder approached the late rapper rover snitch, allegations he had called him a snitch.
Holer is organized to be sentenced on September 15. His attorney said they intend to appeal.
