Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic was featured this year on the NBA 2K22 game cover. Additionally, this Year NBA Legend Michael Jordan will grace the cover for next year’s 2K23.
The trailer for this year’s game features classic Jordan moments from the 1980s and 1990s. Additionally, the video featured classic Jordan sneakers with the Chicago Bulls uniforms. The NBA 2K brand released its announcement on Tuesday morning on social media. The Twitter post reads, “No other way to do it for Introducing our #NBA2K23 Cover Athlete Michael Jordan Edition Championship Edition,” Followed by its Pre-order availability date.
The Cover is Jordan’s fourth appearance on the cover of the popular video game, as he was on the cover of the 2K11, 2K12, and 2K16’s special edition. Some fans voiced opinions on Twitter, and some are puzzled not to see Labron James next to Michael since the two athletes spotted the number 23 on their uniforms.
According to sources, The Michael Jordan edition will feature a mode called “The Jordan Challenge.” Users will experience a collection of different instants from Jordan’s career and college during this mode. In addition, the “Championship Edition” arrives with a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass and the chance to be present at live games throughout the season. Alfie Brody said in the release.
