Kanye West was set to be one of the headliners of The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Coachella is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. The Festival was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999. Along with Billie Eilish and Harry Styles, West was set to be a part of the extravaganza but now has other plans.
According to The source, Ye did not want to perform during his divorce from Kim Kardashian and in the Mids of his feud with “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah. However, in the past few weeks, has ta the rapper has taken to social media to air his growing issues regarding co-parenting Kim.
During his feud, He was suspended from Instagram for 24 hours for posting a racial slur directed toward Noah after the host voiced his uneasiness about West’s feuding with Kardashian. In addition, Ye’s performance at the Grammy Awards was canceled due to his “online behavior.”
Ye was not in attendance; however, he still managed to win two Grammys.
West threatened to quit Coachella after Eilish commented he perceived to be bashing Travis Scott, which Eilish later denied.
It had not been announced that Scott was a performing headliner but will no longer be performing at Coachella with West.
However, it’s currently ambiguous why Kanye decided to back out of the performance. We all know he has had a rough few months due to lashing out at Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, Trevor Noah, and others via social media.
