Talented producer Will Packer is the founder and CEO of Will Packer Productions and [Will Packer] Media. He has produced and executive produced many movies such as   Little, What Men Want, Night School, Girls Trip, Straight Outta Compton, No Good Deed, Think Like a Man Too, Think Like a Man, Takers, Obsessed, and Stomp the Yard are only the tip of the list of the fantastic body of work.

According to his IMDb page, Packer is one of the only Black producers who had eight of their films in the number one spot at the box office. His flicks have made almost $1billion in total.

 Ken Welch, the town’s mayor, co-hosted an Oscar watch party for the city to celebrate Parker’s accomplishment.

“There are young kids that will see that we’re the producers of the Oscars and say, ‘I can do that. ‘If they can do it, I can do it,” Packer expressed to ABC.

“I’m someone who always believes, ‘I can show you better than I can tell you.’ I’m proud of ours being the first all-Black team, but I don’t feel the need to talk about it inordinately. I’d rather show the world what we can do, and then after the fact, we can talk about how great the result was that this particular team produced. There is no doubt our skill sets and perspectives are allowing us to create a show that will be different than that of our predecessors.”
